The only reason people might find this ad "inappropriate" is because they are stuck to the society's way of sugar coating to make things palatable.
Society demands the illusion of "perfection" where the less-than-perfect things are swept under the carpet. We live in an M&Ms world. We're so used to seeing the shiny, colourful, sugary shells that we forget the chocolate-y treasure that lies inside.
Arent we all living a 2 sided life? - like an artist who judge or like a painting being judged. And yet we tend to forget that every piece of beauty is painted with a unique stroke.
